Based out of Austin, Texas the “Live Music Capital of the World” Wheelhouse is a five piece rock band that performs “Classic covers from the 1960’s to today”.
Formed in 2007, the newest version known as Wheelhouse 3.0 has put together a great show that leaves listeners wondering what possibly can be the next song. Combining two younger and very accomplished musicians with three wily veterans who have too many musical miles to mention, makes for a show that is like no other.
Rick Bussey will be playing a solo acoustic set on the inside Iguana stage, here more from Rick on Myspace
Malford Milligan is a world class blues/soul singer, based out of Austin, Texas. He performed on "Austin City Limits" 3 times and has also appeared on the Conan O'Brian show. Malford Milligan has toured with BB King, James Cotton, Edgar Winter, Double Trouble, Kenny Wayne Shepard, and many more.
Fans have been describing The Dust Devils as "the Led Zeppelin of Texas", because the band has a distinct way of "genre bending." They can lay down a hot honky tonk number; a ripping 70's rocker; then a bluegrass groove; scream thru a blues tune; caress a ballad...you never know what to expect with this group. And they do it all with energy, feel, abandon and talent. This is Americana at it's best...no one else is kickin' up dirt this hard, creating the real melting pot that folks call "Texas music." Come see them kick up dust on the Iguana Grill stage and learn more about the band on Myspace
Proclaimed as "rewriting the rules of alt country" by the Austin Chronicle, The Lonesome Heroes have emerged as a singular talent out of Austin's music scene. Songwriters Rich Russell and Landry McMeans founded the Heroes in 2005, and the pair has cultivated their Brooklyn and Texan roots into a unique sound that unites Indie Rock, Folk, and Country.
This Los Angeles-based group started in 1999, and came of age during the last gasp of the old record industry paradigm. Faced with the prospect of being an instrumental music-driven band in an age of increasingly bleak pop-driven market (where one-shot youngsters are heralded as geniuses, then sadly discarded in six months), Incendio has persevered and even thrived, taking instrumental Spanish guitar music to new and uncharted artistic levels.
